Hawawshi (sometimes spelled Hawwaoshi) In Egyptian Arabic: حواوشي
is a traditional Egyptian dish, It is a bread stuffed with minced meat and seasoned with onions, peppers, parsley and sometimes hot peppers. The main types of Hawawshi are "baladi" (regular) and Alexandrian.

Despite the fame and greatness of Egypt and Egyptian civilization, there was no restaurant serving the famous Egyptian dishes in Cambodia. Therefore, we decided to be the first Egyptian restaurant in Cambodia in the capital, Phnom Penh. Hawawshi Restaurant is also distinguished by the presence of an Egyptian chef at the highest level to ensure the provision of a good standard with an Egyptian taste.
